IDENTIFICATION - Aluminum 2-piece case houses all gears and a flat steel 10-bolt plate covers the rear main bearings that are located in the rear case. The front input bearing and seal are serviced together as the front bearing retainer assembly and can be pressed out of the front case. Two shifter rods protrude straight up from the top of the case.
